How Community Stories work
When someone in our community is facing a hardship, Haitian Community Cares steps in to organize and tell their story — so the whole diaspora can rally around them.
A need is shared
A community member, family, or partner tells us about someone facing hardship — a medical bill, a fire, a funeral, a fresh start.
We verify & organize
Our team confirms the need, sets a goal, and runs the campaign on the family's behalf — so they can focus on what matters.
The community gives
The diaspora donates any amount. Funds are delivered directly to the person in need, with updates shared along the way.
Every Community Story is reviewed by our team before it goes live. 100% of donations go to the beneficiary — Haitian Community Cares covers the platform costs.
