Haiti striker Frantzdy Pierrot returns to Bas-Limbe for an emotional homecoming celebrating Les Grenadiers historic World Cup return.

Thousands of supporters lined roads from Cap-Haitien to Bas-Limbe to welcome Haiti striker Frantzdy Pierrot home, continuing celebrations of Les Grenadiers historic World Cup return after 52 years. Pierrot, who grew up in Bas-Limbe until age 11, traveled the 20-mile route standing in a pickup truck, greeting supporters. Since 2020, Pierrot has supported local club Elite FC through his foundation, providing equipment for youth teams.
